Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup
The Nike Air Zoom Mercurial Superfly 10 features a convenient laceless design for quick and easy wear.
- Prepare: Ensure your football socks are smooth and free of creases.
- Pull Tabs: Use the integrated pull tabs located at the top of the collar to widen the opening.
- Slide In: Gently slide your foot into the boot, ensuring your heel settles comfortably into the back.
- Adjust: The stretchy material will conform to your foot, providing a snug, secure fit without the need for laces.
Compatibility
These boots are Multi-Ground (FG/MG), meaning they are specifically designed for optimal performance on:
- Firm Ground (FG): Natural grass pitches that are firm or slightly wet.
- Artificial Grass (MG): Modern artificial turf fields.
*Avoid using these boots on very hard ground, asphalt, or indoor court surfaces, as this can cause damage to the studs and reduce performance.*
Care
Proper care will extend the life and performance of your boots.
- Clean After Each Use: After every game or training session, remove any loose dirt or mud using a soft brush or by tapping the boots together. Then, wipe down the entire boot with a damp cloth.
- Air Dry: Always allow your boots to air dry naturally at room temperature. Avoid direct sunlight, radiators, or tumble dryers, as excessive heat can damage the materials.
- Remove Insoles: Occasionally remove the insoles to allow them to air out separately, preventing odor buildup.
- Storage: Store your boots in a cool, dry place. Using a boot bag can protect them from scratches and keep them clean between uses.
- Do Not Machine Wash: Machine washing can damage the structural integrity and materials of the boots.
