Our Maintenance Kit can be used to maintain a brand-new board, helping to keep it in pristine condition, and used to restore older boards that are showing signs of wear & tear.The kit contains our Cutting Board Oil; a mineral oil-based wood oil that soaks in, nourishes, and protects the wood. The oil will keep the board hydrated and stop stains & odours from being absorbed. After applying the Oil, you should then go on to treat the board with the Cutting Board Conditioner. This is a wax-based conditioner for wood; it will protect the surface of the board and help to hide any cut marks and cuts in the surface.The kit includes 1 x 250ml Cutting Board Oil, 1 x 250ml Cutting Board Conditioner, and 1 x Lint Free Cloth. Everything you need to condition, oil and protect your wooden chopping boards. Chopping Board Oil creates a protective barrier on the surface of the wood preventing liquid from penetrating the surface, working to reduce the proliferation of germs and bacteria while also prolonging the lifespan. The Cutting Board Conditioner’s pure mineral oils and natural waxes penetrate the wood, enhancing the wood's natural colour and character. The waxes will then seal in the oil and fill in cut marks to restore and create an even surface. Regular application will prevent chopping boards from becoming dry, cracked, and brittle. The oil is food grade, safe for use in all food contact areas, and will never spoil.
