Setup, Compatibility & Care
Before your first long hike, it is recommended to wear the shoes for shorter walks to break them in and ensure a perfect fit. Compatibility depends on choosing the correct UK size, so refer to your standard walking sock thickness when testing them. To maintain these shoes, remove excess mud and dirt after each outing using a soft brush. If they become very dirty, clean the exterior with a damp cloth and mild soap. Always air-dry them away from direct heat sources, such as radiators, as intense heat can damage the materials and the adhesive bonds.
