RECCO is a two-part rescue system. The trousers contain a passive reflector that allows professional mountain rescuers to locate you using a signal detector.
Yes, machine wash on a gentle cycle, but avoid fabric softeners and bleach.
The softshell construction provides high wind resistance, making them ideal for high-altitude conditions.
They feature belt loops, so you can add one for a secure fit, though the stud and zip fly provide a standard closure.
They are water-resistant and feature gaiters to block snow, making them well-suited for typical ski resort conditions.
The DWR finish may need reactivation; tumble dry on a low heat setting or apply a spray-on DWR treatment.
Ensure the snow gaiter is pulled up correctly; if it remains too tight, loosen the outer leg hem adjustment if applicable.
For the best performance, ensure you pair these trousers with moisture-wicking base layers to maximize the breathability of the polyester construction. The trousers feature integrated belt loops if you prefer a customizable fit at the waist.
