Product Information
Full details
The GC GAVENO CAVAILIA Duvet Cover Set in Grey is ideal for homeowners seeking a low-maintenance, modern bedding solution that blends style with everyday functionality. Its primary benefit is the combination of an elegant seersucker texture and soft-touch microfibre, which provides lightweight, breathable comfort suitable for all seasons. A notable caveat is that while the microfibre material is highly durable and wrinkle-resistant, it does not offer the same natural moisture-wicking properties as organic cotton, which may be a consideration for those who sleep particularly warm.

FAQs
Is the fabric suitable for sensitive skin?
While the microfibre is designed to be soft, the seersucker texture is raised. If you have extremely sensitive skin, we recommend washing with a gentle fabric softener.
Can I tumble dry this set?
Yes, you can tumble dry on a low heat setting, but air drying is preferred to prolong the life of the fabric.
Does the set come with pillowcases?
Standard duvet sets typically include matching pillowcases; please check your specific package contents upon arrival.
Will the grey color fade in sunlight?
The fabric is designed to be fade-resistant, though it is always best to avoid long-term exposure to direct, harsh sunlight to maintain color vibrancy.
Is this set suitable for summer?
Yes, the lightweight microfibre construction is breathable and provides a comfortable experience even in warmer temperatures.
Troubleshooting
Cover looks slightly wrinkled after drying
Ensure you remove the set promptly from the dryer while still slightly warm, or shake it out firmly before line drying.
Duvet insert is shifting inside the cover
Ensure the duvet insert corners are properly aligned and tucked into the corners of the cover, or use internal corner ties if available.
Pros and Cons
Pros
- Elegant textured appearance without the need for ironing
- Highly durable and resistant to fading over time
- Lightweight and breathable material composition
- Very easy to clean and quick to dry after washing
- Neutral grey tone matches most bedroom color schemes
Cons
- Synthetic microfibre may not feel as breathable as natural fibers like cotton
- Texture may be slightly abrasive for those with highly sensitive skin
- Lightweight design may require an additional blanket during extreme cold
Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setting up the GC GAVENO CAVAILIA Duvet Cover Set is straightforward. Simply place your existing duvet insert inside the cover and secure the closure. For optimal longevity, machine wash the set on a gentle cycle with like colors using mild detergent. Avoid using bleach, as this can degrade the microfibre finish and affect the grey dye. Because the material is quick-drying, a low-heat setting on your tumble dryer is sufficient, though air drying is recommended to maintain the fabric's integrity. Ensure the cover is completely dry before placing it back on the bed to prevent moisture buildup within the duvet.
