The Converse All Star Hi 70s Trainers are designed for active kids who need a blend of classic basketball-inspired style and modern comfort. Featuring high-quality heavy-grade cotton canvas and enhanced cushioning, these sneakers offer a durable and stylish option for everyday wear, though the high-top design may require a brief break-in period for some children.

It is not recommended to machine wash these sneakers, as it can damage the materials and glue. Spot cleaning is the best practice.
While they feature improved cushioning compared to classic models, they do not have medical-grade arch support. You may add an aftermarket insole if needed.
No, the cotton canvas is not waterproof. It is best to avoid heavy rain to keep the shoes and feet dry.
Refer to standard UK children's sizing. These shoes generally run true to size, though the wider toe box may feel more spacious than other brands.
The internal cushioning is designed to be part of the shoe structure, though it can sometimes be removed if you prefer to insert orthotic insoles.
The higher rubber foxing is a signature design element of the '70s series, designed to pay homage to the original basketball court aesthetic.
Use a soft brush to remove loose dirt, then gently wipe with a damp cloth and mild detergent.
Double-knot the laces or swap for elastic laces if the child struggles with traditional tying.
Wear the shoes for short intervals indoors for a few days to allow the canvas and rubber to flex naturally.
To ensure the best experience, start by fully loosening the laces before inserting the foot, as the high-top construction is firmer than low-profile trainers. To maintain the longevity of the red and black canvas, it is recommended to spot-clean with a soft cloth and mild soap. Avoid machine washing, as this can degrade the rubber bonding and cause the colour to fade. If the shoes get wet, air-dry them away from direct heat sources to prevent the rubber from becoming brittle or the canvas from shrinking.
