FAQs

Are Durex Extra Safe Condoms suitable for everyone?

No, they are made from latex, so they are not suitable for people with latex allergies.

How do I know which way the condom should go?

The rolled edge of the condom should be facing outwards. If you're unsure, check the packaging instructions.

Can I use lubricant with these condoms?

Yes, water-based lubricants are recommended. Avoid oil-based lubricants as they can damage the latex.

How should I store the condoms?

Store condoms in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Avoid storing them in wallets or areas that may expose them to friction or heat.

What should I do if the condom breaks?

Stop immediately, and seek medical advice.

How effective are condoms?

Condoms are highly effective when used correctly, but no method of contraception is 100% effective.

Troubleshooting

Condom is difficult to unroll.

Ensure the condom is facing the correct way (rolled edge outwards). If the condom is difficult to unroll, it might be inside out or damaged; discard it and use a new one.

Condom feels too tight.

Ensure you have selected the correct size. If it continues to feel too tight, discontinue use.

Condom breaks during use.

Stop immediately and seek medical advice. Consider using a different brand or product.

Setup, Compatibility & Care

Preparation: Before use, check the expiration date on the package.
Application: Carefully tear open the package from the tear notch. Place the condom on the erect penis, ensuring the rolled edge is on the outside. Pinch the tip to remove air and unroll the condom down to the base.
During Use: If the condom begins to roll down during intercourse, stop and re-roll it before continuing. If the condom breaks, stop immediately and seek medical attention if necessary.
After Use: After intercourse, hold the base of the condom and withdraw while the penis is still erect. Carefully remove the condom and dispose of it in a trash receptacle. Do not flush it down the toilet.
Storage: Store condoms in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Avoid storing them in wallets or areas that may expose them to friction.
