Raspberry Glen Dee - RASPGLENDEE-1

Spring or autumn are the ideal times to plant, when the soil is workable and not frozen.

Yes, prune back the old fruiting canes in late winter to encourage vigorous growth for the coming season.

While they prefer ground planting, they can be grown in large, deep containers with high-quality potting mix.

Most established plants will begin producing a light crop in their second year.

They thrive in fertile, moisture-retentive, and slightly acidic soil with good drainage.

Yes, Raspberry Glen Dee is self-fertile, so you do not need multiple varieties for fruit production.

This is often caused by lack of water during fruit development or poor pollination; ensure deep watering and attract pollinators.

Check for poor drainage or nitrogen deficiency; amend soil with well-rotted compost.

The plant requires physical support; secure the canes to a trellis or horizontal wire system.
