FAQs

What material is the UGG GoldenGlow Toggle Sandal made of?

The upper is made of PU-coated leather, laces are 100% recycled polyester, the upper lining is 100% recycled polyester, and the midsole and outsole are made from sugarcane EVA.

How do I adjust the fit of the sandal?

The sandal features a quick lace-up pull tab with a toggle. Cinch the toggle to tighten the laces for your ideal fit.

Are these sandals suitable for water activities?

The description suggests they are ready to wear through drizzles and sunshine, indicating some water resistance. However, they are not designed as water shoes and prolonged submersion is not recommended. The materials should dry relatively quickly.

What is the heel height?

The heel height is approximately 3 to 5 cm, contributing to the platform design.

How do I clean the sandals?

Wipe the PU-coated leather upper and EVA components with a damp cloth. Avoid harsh cleaning agents.

What does the RISE initiative mean for this product?

It means the product was made in a factory that supports women in the supply chain through empowerment and education initiatives, in partnership with the Reimagining Industry to Support Equality (RISE) project.

Are these sandals unisex?

These sandals are specifically designed for women.

What kind of sole does it have?

It features a platform sole with a lugged outsole made from sugarcane EVA rubber for grip and support.

Troubleshooting

Toggle closure not holding its position.

Ensure the laces are threaded correctly through the toggle. If the laces appear worn, consider replacing them with new ones made from 100% recycled polyester fibers.

Discomfort after extended wear.

Adjust the toggle for a slightly looser fit. Ensure the size is correct for your foot. The sugarcane EVA will also break in over time for enhanced comfort.

Slight slipperiness on very smooth, wet surfaces.

While the lugged sole provides grip, extremely slick surfaces may still pose a minor challenge. Ensure the footbed is dry for maximum traction.

PU-coated leather showing wear.

Gently clean the affected area with a damp cloth. For minor scuffs, a specialized leather cleaner suitable for coated leather might be used cautiously. Avoid excessive moisture.
