The Desire Rugs Santiago Modern Geometric Area Rug is designed for homeowners seeking a balance of contemporary style and heavy-duty durability. It is an ideal choice for busy households, entryways, or living spaces needing a sophisticated focal point, offering a soft 13mm pile that stands up to frequent use. While it provides excellent resilience and stain resistance, users should note that the bold geometric pattern requires careful consideration to ensure it complements existing room decor rather than overpowering it.

Yes, the strong backing is designed for various flooring types, though a rug pad is recommended to prevent sliding.
Yes, the Santiago collection is machine-woven for durability and is specifically rated for high-traffic areas.
No, it is manufactured with non-shedding fibers to keep your home clean and minimize maintenance.
Blot the spill immediately with a clean, dry cloth. Do not rub, as this can force the stain deeper. Use a mild soap solution if necessary.
The geometric pattern is designed to complement modern, minimalist, and Scandinavian-inspired interior designs.
The 13mm pile height is generally manageable for most modern robot vacuums, but ensure the unit is set to a rug-compatible mode.
Place heavy books or furniture on the corners for 24-48 hours until the rug flattens.
Use a damp cloth to lightly dampen the pile and brush it upright with your fingers or a soft brush.
Avoid using a high-powered beater bar or rotating brush, as these can pull at the fibers; use a standard suction attachment.
When you receive your Santiago rug, roll it out in the desired location and allow it to lay flat for 24-48 hours to remove any curling from shipping. If the rug slides on polished floorboards, consider using a non-slip rug pad underneath for maximum safety. Compatibility-wise, the grey colorway pairs exceptionally well with charcoal, white, or oak furniture finishes. To care for your rug, vacuum regularly using a suction-only setting to avoid damaging the cut pile fibers. For deep cleaning, spot-clean with a mild detergent and water, ensuring the area is dried thoroughly to maintain the structural integrity of the backing.
