These pads are designed for indoor use. Exposure to moisture and outdoor elements can degrade the adhesive backing.
While they will stick, felt pads are specifically optimized for hard flooring. They may not provide the same sliding benefits on high-pile carpets.
Peel the pad off slowly. If adhesive residue remains, use a mild adhesive remover or warm soapy water to clean the surface.
It is not recommended to stack the pads, as this can create an unstable surface and may lead to the furniture wobbling.
The adhesive works best on clean, flat, and non-porous surfaces such as finished wood, smooth metal, or hard plastic.
The product features a dense, durable synthetic felt designed specifically for industrial and household weight-bearing protection.
Clean the furniture leg thoroughly with a degreaser or alcohol and ensure it is completely dry before applying a new pad.
Ensure the pad was cut slightly smaller than the perimeter of the furniture leg so it does not overhang or snag on carpets.
Use a sharp pair of heavy-duty craft scissors rather than standard office shears to ensure a clean edge.
To install, first clean the bottom surface of your furniture leg with an alcohol wipe to remove grease or dust. Peel the protective backing from the felt pad and press it firmly onto the leg. For optimal adhesion, hold pressure for 30 seconds. These pads are compatible with wood, metal, and plastic furniture legs. To maintain them, periodically check the pads for embedded debris. If the felt becomes extremely worn after years of use, simply peel off the old pad, wipe away any residual adhesive with a gentle solvent, and replace it with a new cut-to-size piece.
