Product Information

Full details

The Huffy Freestyle 20 Jn00 is designed for riders looking for a durable and capable BMX-style bike for tricks and general riding. Its key benefit is the robust steel frame and BMX-specific components that offer stability and performance for freestyle maneuvers. A potential caveat is the inclusion of both a rear U-brake and a front caliper brake, which may offer different braking feels than traditional BMX setups. This bike features a steel freestyle frame with Pro Geometry, a comfortable one-piece seat/post combo, Pro Quality 3-piece hollow steel cranks, alloy rims, and versatile freestyle tires.

Troubleshooting

Brakes are not stopping effectively

Check brake pad alignment with the rim and adjust tension on the brake cables. Ensure rims are clean and free from debris.

Chain is slipping or noisy

Ensure the chain is properly lubricated. Check for any bent chain links or excessive wear. Adjust derailleur if applicable (though this model likely has a single speed).

Handlebars feel loose

Tighten the stem bolts securely. If the headset is loose, it may require professional adjustment.

Rattling noise from the crank area

Ensure the crank arms and pedals are tightly secured. Check for any play in the bottom bracket.
