Setup, Compatibility & Care
Initial Setup: Upon receiving the bike, a professional assembly is recommended. Key components like the handlebars, front wheel, pedals, and saddle will need to be attached and adjusted. Ensure all bolts are securely tightened. The seat post height and handlebar position can be adjusted to fit the rider; the seat post uses a quick-release lever for tool-free adjustments, while handlebar height adjustments may require basic tools.
Compatibility: The Frog Road 61 is designed for 24-inch road wheels and uses standard 9/16 pedals. It is compatible with standard cycling accessories such as helmets, lights, and pumps. The frame and fork feature mounts for water bottle cages.
Care and Maintenance: Keep the bike clean by regularly wiping down the frame with a damp cloth. Clean the drivetrain (chain, cassette, chainring) periodically with a degreaser and lubricant to ensure smooth gear changes and prolong its life. Inspect tyres for wear and maintain proper inflation. Regularly check brake pad wear and adjust the mechanical disc brakes as needed. Store the bike in a dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
