Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure your Birkenstocks last for years, proper care is essential. Since these sandals feature a suede upper, avoid getting them wet, as water can stain or alter the texture of the material. If the suede becomes dusty, use a soft-bristled brush to gently remove debris. For the footbed, wipe it occasionally with a damp cloth to remove skin oils and dirt. Store them in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight or extreme heat, which can cause the cork to dry out or crack. Ensure the straps are adjusted to your comfort level upon first wear, leaving just enough room for the foot to sit naturally in the heel cup.
