FAQs

Is this product sticky like a traditional lip gloss?

No, the Lustreglass formula is designed to be lightweight and non-sticky, providing a shine finish without the tackiness.

Does the pink shade stain the skin?

Yes, it is designed as a lip tint, so it will leave a lasting stain on the lips that persists even after the initial shine dissipates.

Can I wear this over a lip liner?

Yes, pairing this with a matching lip liner can help define your shape and increase the longevity of the color.

How do I remove the tint at the end of the day?

Use an oil-based makeup remover or a gentle cleansing balm to effectively break down the long-wear stain.

Is this suitable for sensitive skin?

The formula contains nourishing raspberry seed oil and squalane; however, if you have known sensitivities to cosmetic fragrances or specific oils, perform a patch test first.

Troubleshooting

Color appears too sheer upon first application

Apply a second or third layer, allowing 30 seconds between applications for the stain to build up intensity.

Product feels slightly dry after several hours

Apply a clear, non-greasy lip balm over the top to refresh the hydration without removing the underlying stain.

Difficulty achieving a clean line with the cushion

Use a small lip brush to define the cupid's bow and corners, then use the cushion applicator to fill in the rest.

Pros and Cons

Pros

Long-lasting 12-hour wear
Deeply hydrating ingredients like squalane
Versatile, buildable coverage
Comfortable, non-sticky finish
Easy to use cushion applicator

Cons

Requires layering for high color intensity
Stain may be difficult to remove quickly
Not an opaque lipstick formulation

Setup, Compatibility & Care

To achieve the best results, ensure your lips are exfoliated before the first application to prevent the pigment from clinging to dry patches. For the most even color, apply onto bare, clean lips; using heavy balms underneath may prevent the stain from adhering correctly. After applying, avoid rubbing your lips together for about 30 seconds to allow the transfer-resistant formula to set properly. Store the product in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to maintain the integrity of the botanical oils.
