FAQs
Are these shoes true to size?
This model features a more generous fit than standard trainers. It is recommended to size down if you are typically between sizes.
Can I put these trainers in the washing machine?
No, machine washing can damage the leather and the adhesives. Always clean them by hand.
What is the primary material used?
The Gola Viper trainers are crafted with a high-quality leather upper.
Are these suitable for running?
No, these are heritage-inspired lifestyle trainers and are not designed for running or high-impact athletic activities.
How do I maintain the gum sole?
Wipe the gum sole with a damp cloth after wear to remove dust and debris, which keeps the translucent effect looking clean.
Do these shoes require a break-in period?
Most leather trainers require a short break-in period. Wear them for short durations indoors initially to allow the leather to soften to your foot shape.
Troubleshooting
The shoe feels too loose
Try using a thicker sock or adding a slim comfort insole to take up the extra volume in the shoe.
The leather is showing scuffs
Use a specialized leather eraser or a gentle leather cream to buff out surface-level marks.

Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure your Gola Vipers last, follow these simple care guidelines:
- Sizing: Since this model has a generous fit, try them on with your preferred socks before removing tags. If you are between sizes, definitely size down.
- Cleaning: Use a soft, damp cloth to wipe the leather upper. For stubborn marks, use a mild leather cleaner specifically designed for white shoes.
- Storage: Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to prevent the white leather from yellowing or the gum sole from degrading over time.
- Protection: Consider applying a water-resistant leather spray before your first wear to protect against minor scuffs and water spots.
