A performance bike shoe with a PU laminated mesh upper that enhances ventilation and an ergonomic construction that conforms to the foot's anatomy. The R4 outsole is made of carbon-injected nylon. This all-round road cycling shoe is designed for weekend group rides, daily training, and granfondo events. The Overcurve R4 features a resilient polyurethane laminated material over a comfortable mesh, reducing energy loss and providing long-lasting foot support. Designed for riders with wider feet, the Overcurve R4 Wide offers a higher volume fit with more room at the forefoot. The shoe closure is fast, reliable, and secure, with a micro-adjustable BOA® IP1 dial in an Overcurve pattern. The Overcurve shoe construction has a staggered collar that wraps around the ankle, following the natural alignment of the ankle's bony protrusions for an asymmetrical shape. The moderately stiff R4 outsole balances comfort and pedaling efficiency, with a lower profile optimized with 15% infused carbon fiber. The R4 outsole also provides efficient ventilation with internal channeling for effective temperature regulation. The cleat is positioned slightly further towards the heel for optimized pedaling efficiency and reduced knee compression, ideal for aggressive aero riding positions.
