Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure your dress retains its shape and embellishment quality, follow these maintenance guidelines:
- Storage: Hang the dress on a padded hanger to maintain the structure of the shoulders and ensure the self-fabric belt is stored separately or looped loosely.
- Cleaning: Due to the beaded trim and fraying hem, professional dry cleaning is recommended. Do not machine wash as the agitation may damage the intricate beaded neckline or unravel the frayed edges.
- Spot Cleaning: If necessary, use a soft, damp cloth for minor spots, ensuring you do not rub the beads or the tweed fibers vigorously.
- Ironing: Use a low-heat setting or a handheld steamer to remove wrinkles. Avoid placing a hot iron directly onto the beads or gold-tone buttons.
