Quest Kyolic Aged Garlic Extract contributes to normal heart, liver, and immune function. Aged garlic is produced from organically grown cloves, cold-aged for 20 months to create sulfur-containing compounds like S-allyl cysteine and S-allyl mercaptocysteine. It is shown to lower total and LDL blood cholesterol, improve blood circulation, support healthy blood pressure levels, and reduce platelet aggregation and adhesion to blood vessel walls. Aged garlic also possesses antioxidant properties that enhance immune function, reducing the risk and duration of infections and protecting cells from oxidative damage by free radicals. Additionally, it boosts the activity of liver enzymes to aid detoxification pathways.
