This is a rich source of the monounsaturated omega 7 fatty acid palmitoleic acid. Sea buckthorn oil is one of the richest sources of palmitoleic acid; this omega 7 fatty acid is present in all body tissues, especially in skin and fat tissue. It is also a natural source of tocopherols, tocotrienols and carotenoids. Sea buckthorn contains a wide range of fatty acids both essential and non-essential.
