Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup
- Lacing: Begin by loosening the laces completely. Slide your foot in, ensuring your heel is comfortably seated at the back of the boot. Then, progressively tighten the laces from the bottom upwards, ensuring an even, snug fit across your foot without being overly constrictive. The goal is a secure, locked-in feel that allows for natural foot movement.
- Break-in Period: For optimal comfort and to allow the boots to mold to your feet, wear them for short periods during light training sessions or warm-ups before full-intensity play.
Compatibility
These boots are specifically designed for Artificial Ground (AG) surfaces. The specialized soleplate and stud configuration are optimized for traction, durability, and performance on synthetic turf. While they may physically fit on other surfaces, their performance and the lifespan of the boots can be negatively impacted if used regularly on natural grass or hard ground.
Care Instructions
- Cleaning After Use: Immediately after each use, remove loose dirt and debris by gently tapping the boots together. Wipe down the upper with a damp cloth to remove mud and stains. A soft brush can be used for stubborn dirt on the soleplate.
- Drying: Allow the boots to air dry naturally at room temperature. Do not expose them to direct heat sources like radiators or direct sunlight, as this can damage the materials and cause cracking or shrinkage. Stuffing them with newspaper can help absorb moisture and maintain their shape.
- Storage: Store your boots in a cool, dry place, ideally in a boot bag or box, away from extreme temperatures and moisture.
- Avoid Harsh Chemicals: Do not use strong detergents, solvents, or abrasive cleaners, as these can degrade the engineered leather and other materials.
