This Regatta Pack It III waterproof jacket is designed for active kids who need reliable protection from the elements during outdoor adventures. Its key benefit is its lightweight, packable design, making it easy to carry for unexpected rain showers. A potential caveat is that while water-repellent, it is not fully waterproof for prolonged heavy downpours. The jacket features a breathable, moisture-wicking fabric, a grown-on hood, and two zipped pockets, making it ideal for walking, hiking, camping, festivals, and school trips.

ISOLITE 5,000 refers to the jacket's fabric rating, indicating it can withstand 5,000mm of water pressure in a 24-hour period and has a breathability rating of 5,000g/m²/24hrs. This offers good water repellency and breathability for active use.
Refer to the Regatta Kids Sizing chart provided in the product description. Measure your child's chest circumference and compare it to the measurements (e.g., 3-4 Years corresponds to a chest of approximately 55-57cm).
This is a lightweight shell jacket designed primarily for rain and wind protection. It offers minimal insulation. For cold weather, it can be layered over warm clothing like fleece or insulated jackets.
The jacket is designed to pack down small into a small stuff sack, making it highly portable and easy to fit into a backpack or pocket.
The jacket features a 'grown-on' hood with elastication around the face, providing a snug fit without separate adjustment cords.
Machine wash at 40°C with similar colours. Avoid fabric softeners, bleach, and ironing. Re-apply DWR treatment periodically to maintain water repellency.
DWR is a coating applied to the outer fabric that causes water to bead up and roll off the surface, preventing the fabric from becoming saturated and maintaining breathability.
The Durable Water Repellent (DWR) finish may have worn off. Re-apply a DWR treatment suitable for outdoor clothing, following the product instructions. Ensure the jacket is clean before application.
This could be due to high perspiration. Ensure the jacket's full zip is partially open for better ventilation. The 'breathable' rating indicates vapor escape, but intense activity can still lead to some internal moisture.
Gently try to work the zipper back and forth. Apply a small amount of graphite (from a pencil tip) or a specialized zipper lubricant to the teeth. Ensure no fabric is caught in the zipper slider.
Setup: This jacket requires no setup. Simply unpack and wear.
Compatibility: Designed for children, suitable for various outdoor activities like walking, hiking, camping, festivals, and school trips. It is compatible with everyday clothing worn underneath.
