Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup
- Lacing: Unlace the boots sufficiently to slide your foot in comfortably. Ensure your heel is seated properly in the back of the boot.
- Adjusting the Fit: Systematically tighten the laces from the bottom upwards. Ensure the laces are snug but not overly tight, allowing for natural foot movement. Utilize all eyelets for optimal ankle support and a secure fit.
- Initial Wear: Wear the boots for short periods initially to allow the leather to break in and the Memory Foam to conform to your foot shape.
Compatibility
These boots are designed for adult males working in environments requiring safety footwear. Their features are compatible with professional safety regulations, particularly those covered by EN ISO 20345:2011 standards. They are best suited for industrial, construction, and service sectors where toe protection, slip resistance, and anti-static properties are necessary.
Care
- Cleaning the Leather Upper: Wipe the leather surface with a damp cloth to remove dirt and dust. For more stubborn grime, use a mild leather cleaner specifically designed for work boots. Allow the boots to air dry naturally away from direct heat.
- Conditioning: Periodically apply a leather conditioner to keep the leather supple and prevent cracking, especially after exposure to moisture or harsh conditions.
- Sole Maintenance: Inspect the rubber/synthetic outsole regularly for embedded debris. Clean the treads with a stiff brush to maintain optimal slip resistance.
- Storage: Store boots in a cool, dry place. Avoid storing them in direct sunlight or extreme temperatures, which can degrade materials.
- Insole Care: If insoles become damp, remove them to air dry. While the Memory Foam provides comfort, consider rotating insoles if you wear your boots daily to prolong their lifespan.
