It is not recommended for turnout. It is designed for active exercise while a rider is present.
What sizes are available?
Please check your local retailer for specific size availability for the Firefoot standard-neck range.
Will this rub the horse's shoulders?
The lightweight mesh is designed to be soft and non-restrictive, minimizing the risk of rubs during normal exercise.
How do I secure the sheet around the saddle?
The standard-neck design typically features closures that allow the sheet to sit neatly behind or under the saddle flap depending on your preference and saddle type.
Troubleshooting
The sheet shifts during exercise.
Check that the tail cord is correctly attached and tightened, and ensure the touch-fastening tabs are fully overlapped.
Reflective strips are losing brightness.
Gently clean the reflective surface with a damp cloth to remove mud and grit, which can dull the light-reflecting properties.
