Timberland Field Trekker Mid Boots - Brown - UK 8.5

The product description does not specify that these boots are fully waterproof. They are designed for comfort and light outdoor use. For enhanced water resistance, you may consider applying a suitable water-repellent treatment to the material.

For optimal comfort and to complement the OrthoLite® footbed's breathability, we recommend wearing moisture-wicking socks made from materials like wool or synthetic blends. Avoid thin cotton socks for prolonged wear.

These boots are listed in UK adult male sizing. Generally, Timberland boots are true to size. If you are unsure, measure your foot length and compare it to a Timberland size chart. Consider wearing the type of socks you typically would with boots when trying them on.

The OrthoLite® footbed is integrated for superior comfort and breathability. While technically possible to remove, it's designed to work with the compression Eva midsole for optimal performance. Replacing it might alter the intended comfort and support.

The Field Trekker Mid Boots offer a solid rubber sole for traction and a comfortable fit. However, they are not specifically insulated for extreme cold. For very cold or snowy conditions, additional thermal socks and potentially a dedicated winter boot would be more appropriate.

Cleaning frequency depends on your usage and environmental exposure. For regular wear, a quick wipe-down weekly is beneficial. Deep cleaning and conditioning (if applicable to the material) can be done monthly or every few months, or as needed when the boots appear soiled or dry.

This is common with new footwear. Wear the boots for short periods around the house to allow the compression Eva midsole and upper materials to break in and mold to your feet. Ensure your lacing isn't too tight.

The OrthoLite® footbed offers breathability, but proper sock choice is also key. Wear moisture-wicking socks and allow boots to air out thoroughly between wears. Consider using shoe deodorizers or cedar shoe trees.

While the rubber sole provides good traction, no boot is slip-proof on all wet surfaces. Exercise caution on extremely slick conditions. Ensure the sole is clean of mud or debris that could reduce grip.

Gently clean scuffs with a soft, damp cloth. For deeper marks or specific material types, consult a specialized boot cleaner or conditioner. Applying a protective spray can help prevent future marks.
