The Adidas Handball Spezial is a versatile low-profile shoe designed for adults seeking a blend of heritage court aesthetics and modern everyday comfort. Ideal for those who appreciate a clean, minimalist silhouette, the shoe excels as a stylish daily trainer thanks to its durable leather construction and reliable grip; however, prospective buyers should note that as a lifestyle-focused model, it may lack the advanced technical cushioning required for high-intensity athletic performance.

Generally, yes, these models fit true to standard adult UK sizing, though those with wider feet may prefer a half-size increase.
While they were originally designed for handball, they are now positioned as lifestyle trainers and do not provide the same support or cushioning as modern dedicated performance athletic shoes.
Wipe the leather surfaces with a soft, damp cloth and a mild leather cleaner if necessary, then buff dry.
The series is available in various iterations; some are gender-specific as listed in the product specifications, while others are marketed as unisex.
The gum rubber sole is typically non-marking, making it suitable for indoor environments.
Use a specialized suede brush to gently lift dirt; avoid getting the suede overly wet.
Use shoe trees when not in use to help maintain the structure and minimize deep crease formation.
Because these are low-top sneakers, they offer high compatibility with various sock lengths, ranging from hidden no-show socks to standard crew cuts. To ensure longevity, keep the shoes away from heavy mud or moisture which can stain the suede toe overlay. For cleaning, use a soft-bristled brush to remove dry dirt from the suede, and a damp cloth with mild soap for the leather panels. Allow the shoes to air dry naturally away from direct heat sources to prevent the leather from cracking or warping.
