The Roman Halter Neck Dress is designed for adult women who value a blend of classic style and seasonal comfort during warmer months. Its primary benefit is the combination of breathable linen fabric with a flattering, adjustable-fit bodice, making it a versatile staple for spring and summer wardrobes. A minor caveat for potential buyers is that the linen material requires specific garment care to maintain its structure and reduce wrinkling over time.

Yes, its midi length and clean silhouette make it appropriate for semi-formal summer events, especially when paired with elevated accessories.
Linen naturally softens and gains a relaxed fit with wear, but the shirred back is designed to maintain its shape and tension.
It is not recommended to use a tumble dryer, as heat can damage the linen fibers and cause significant shrinkage.
The dress uses high-quality linen; however, due to the nature of black linen, it provides sufficient coverage for standard daytime wear.
Hang it on a padded hanger in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to prevent color fading and keep the fabric structure intact.
Use a handheld garment steamer or iron on the linen setting while the fabric is slightly damp.
Ensure the shirred back is laying flat against the skin and not twisted; if the fit remains uncomfortable, consider a professional tailor to adjust the elastic tension.
Turn the garment inside out before washing and use a detergent formulated for dark-colored fabrics to protect the black dye.
Because this garment is made from linen, proper care is essential for longevity. Always check the internal garment tag for specific temperature settings for washing. It is generally recommended to wash this dress in cool water on a delicate cycle or by hand to preserve the integrity of the fibers. Avoid high-heat tumble drying, which can cause shrinkage; instead, hang the dress to dry in a shaded area. To handle wrinkles, use a low-heat steam iron or a garment steamer. The dress fits true to size, but the shirred back provides extra tolerance if you are between sizes.
