Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup: These eyeglasses come with standard prescription lenses. For optimal vision, it is highly recommended to have the lenses fitted and adjusted by a qualified optician to match your child's specific prescription and pupillary distance. The frames themselves are ready to wear once lenses are professionally installed.
Compatibility: The RBA1980 model is specifically designed for children and juniors. The size is a 47mm lens width with a 14mm bridge width. It is recommended to compare these measurements with your child's current, well-fitting eyewear or consult an optician to ensure the best fit.
Care: To maintain the longevity and appearance of your Ray-Ban eyeglasses:
- Cleaning: Gently clean the lenses with a soft, lint-free cloth (like the one provided). Use a mild soap and water solution if necessary for stubborn smudges, then rinse and dry with the cloth.
- Storage: When not in use, store the eyeglasses in the protective case provided to prevent scratches and damage.
- Handling: Avoid placing the glasses lens-down. Handle them by the temples or bridge to maintain the frame's shape and alignment.
- Adjustments: Any adjustments to the frame should be performed by a professional optician to avoid damage.
