They provide good protection against rain and light snow, but may not be insulated enough for extreme cold. Consider wearing thicker socks in colder weather.
Wipe off dirt with a damp cloth. For tougher stains, use a leather cleaner. Always condition the leather after cleaning.
Wear socks that complement your activity. For everyday use, standard socks work well. For colder conditions, opt for thicker, thermal socks.
Clarks products usually have a warranty against manufacturing defects. Check the product packaging or Clarks' website for specific warranty details.
Resoleing is possible, but it depends on the extent of wear and the cobbler's capabilities. Check with a local cobbler for more information.
Clarks generally runs true to size, but it's recommended to check the size guide, especially if you're between sizes.
Store the boots in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight. Consider using shoe trees to maintain their shape.
Allow some break-in time. Use thicker socks or consider getting a wider size.
Check the laces and tongue for proper closure. Ensure the leather is adequately treated with a waterproofing product if needed. Inspect the boot for any damage to the GORE-TEX® lining.
Use a leather cleaner and conditioner to treat minor scratches. For deeper damage, consider professional leather repair.
Apply a leather conditioner to the areas that are creaking. The creaking often diminishes over time with regular wear.
There is no specific setup required for these boots. They are ready to wear upon purchase.
