The New Balance 740 trainers are primarily designed for casual daily wear and general comfort, not for high-performance sports. While durable for active play, they are not specialized athletic footwear.
This particular model is a UK Children's Size 3. It's recommended to measure your child's foot and compare it to New Balance's official size chart to ensure the best fit.
As they are made with suede, these trainers are not ideal for heavy rain or very wet conditions. Suede can be damaged by water. Applying a water-resistant suede protector spray can offer some defense against light moisture.
It depends on usage. For daily wear, a quick brush-down after use can prevent dirt build-up. Spot clean stains as they occur. Deep cleaning with a specialized product should be done periodically as needed.
Yes, the New Balance 740 series typically comes in various colors and sizes. This specific product is white suede in UK Children's Size 3, but other variants might be available from retailers.
Abzorb is a New Balance proprietary foam material that offers superior shock absorption and cushioning properties, providing comfort and reducing impact during walking or light activities.
Yes, the New Balance 740 trainers are designed with a unisex appeal, making them suitable for both boys and girls.
Use a soft suede brush to remove loose dirt. For deeper stains, gently rub with a suede eraser or use a specialized suede cleaner according to its instructions. Always let the shoe air dry completely.
Ensure the correct size has been purchased (this model is UK 3 children's). Check that laces are not tied too tightly. Consider wearing appropriate socks.
Use a suede brush to gently restore the nap of the material. Brush in consistent, short strokes in one direction.
Check if the insoles are properly seated or if they need to be re-positioned. Sometimes, a light dusting of baby powder or cornstarch under the insole can resolve squeaking.
While durable, regular care extends shoe life. Ensure appropriate use for casual activities. For specific manufacturing defects, contact New Balance support or the retailer.
