The Master Flash Standard is designed for professional roofers and DIY installers requiring a reliable, weather-tight seal for pipe penetrations on metal roofs. Its primary benefit is a highly adaptable, aluminum-reinforced base that contours to various roof profiles, providing a long-term defense against leaks; however, users must ensure they use the correct sealant and fasteners to maintain the integrity of the EPDM rubber in extreme temperature conditions.

Yes, the aluminum base is flexible and can be flattened to provide a secure seal on flat metal surfaces.
While EPDM is heat resistant, please verify the temperature rating of your specific flue system to ensure it does not exceed the EPDM melting point.
Apply extra pressure to the aluminum base while fastening to ensure it conforms to the texture, and use a generous amount of silicone sealant.
No, fasteners and sealant are typically sold separately to allow you to choose the ones best suited for your specific roof material.
The Master Flash Standard is rated for pipe diameters between 0 mm and 70 mm.
Check if the sealant bead was applied continuously; re-apply sealant around the perimeter if gaps are found.
Ensure additional fasteners were used in the valleys of the corrugated or trapezoidal profile to hold the aluminum base tight against the roof surface.
To install, first select the appropriate trim line on the cone corresponding to your pipe diameter and cut cleanly using sharp shears. Slide the flashing over the pipe until it rests against the roof. Apply a generous bead of high-quality, metal-compatible sealant between the base and the roof surface. Secure the base using compatible fasteners, spacing them approximately 25-50 mm apart around the perimeter. Regular care involves visual inspections during annual roof maintenance to check for debris accumulation or sealant degradation. Clean the surface with a damp cloth if soot or grime builds up on the rubber cone.
