FAQs

Can I iron this blazer?

It is not recommended to use a standard iron. If necessary, use a professional garment steamer on the lowest setting.

Is this blazer suitable for summer weddings?

Yes, the breathable nature of silk and the light white color make it an excellent choice for formal summer events.

How does the corset-seaming affect the fit?

The corset-seaming is designed to pull in the waist to define the silhouette; it is tailored for a structured, regular fit.

What should I wear underneath?

Due to the single-button fastening, a silk camisole, a high-neck blouse, or a simple fitted tank top are excellent choices.

Does the white fabric appear transparent?

The blazer is fully lined to provide structure and opacity, ensuring it is appropriate for professional settings.

Troubleshooting

Creases or wrinkles in the fabric

Use a professional handheld steamer on a low setting, keeping the nozzle at least six inches away from the silk.

Accidental spill or spot

Do not rub the spot. Blot gently with a dry, clean white cloth and consult a professional dry cleaner immediately.

Pros and Cons

Pros

Sophisticated architectural silhouette that is highly flattering
Versatile design suitable for weddings, galas, and professional settings
High-quality construction with attention to detail in the cuffs and seams
Sharp shoulders create a powerful and polished aesthetic

Cons

Silk material is delicate and prone to wrinkling
Requires professional cleaning to prevent fabric damage
Light white color requires careful handling to avoid stains

Setup, Compatibility & Care

To keep your blazer in top condition, hang it on a shaped, padded hanger to preserve the integrity of the structured shoulders. Avoid hanging it in cramped closets where the fabric may compress. Given the silk composition, this garment is strictly for dry cleaning; do not attempt to machine wash or tumble dry the piece. If small creases occur, use a handheld steamer from a distance rather than a high-heat iron, which can singe or flatten the silk fibers.
