FAQs
Are these coasters dishwasher safe?
No, these are made from paper and will be destroyed if placed in a dishwasher or submerged in water.
Will the colors fade over time?
As with many artisanal, recycled paper products, keeping them out of direct, harsh sunlight will help preserve the vibrancy of the colors.
Can I use these for large beer steins?
The coasters are 10cm in diameter; while they fit standard glasses, they may be too small for very wide-based mugs.
Is the newspaper material safe?
Yes, the materials are repurposed in a way that is safe for standard household decorative use.
Why does my set look different from the photos?
Each piece is handmade from recycled newspaper, so every coaster features its own distinct color combination and pattern.
Troubleshooting
Coaster edges starting to lift
Gently press the layers back together and ensure they are kept in a dry environment away from high humidity.
Light stain on the coaster surface
Use a barely damp, soft cloth to gently dab the area, then immediately air dry completely.

Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setting up your coaster set is straightforward: simply arrange the holder in a central location on your side table or coffee table and distribute the six coasters.
Care Instructions:
- Keep the coasters dry: Wipe off any spilled liquid immediately to preserve the structural integrity of the paper.
- Spot clean only: If the surface gets dusty, use a dry, soft cloth to gently wipe the coasters.
- Avoid moisture build-up: Do not leave the coasters in standing puddles of water, as the paper material may degrade if saturated for extended periods.
- Storage: Always return the coasters to their matching 11x4cm holder to ensure they maintain their shape and do not get misplaced.
