While the leather is durable, it is not fully waterproof. We recommend using a leather-safe water-repellent spray for added protection against light moisture.
The ELLIS series uses standard UK adult sizing. It is recommended to choose your usual size, keeping in mind that leather may stretch slightly.
Yes, high-quality leather boots like the ELLIS series can often be taken to a professional cobbler for resoling, which can significantly extend their lifespan.
Depending on frequency of use, polishing every 4 to 6 weeks is sufficient to maintain the leather's health and appearance.
The ELLIS design features a standard fit. If you have particularly wide feet, you may find the silhouette snug; we suggest trying them on with appropriate hosiery to check the comfort level.
Wear them for short periods around the house with thick socks to gently soften the leather.
Apply a matching black shoe cream and buff with a soft cloth to restore the original luster.
Use a thin leather or felt insole to improve grip and add extra cushioning.
To get the most out of your ELLIS boots, ensure you are wearing the correct size for your foot shape, as leather tends to mold to the wearer over time. For care, use a high-quality leather cream or polish to maintain the finish and prevent the material from drying out. Avoid submerging the boots in water. If they become wet, allow them to air dry naturally away from direct heat sources, such as radiators, which can cause the leather to crack. Store with shoe trees if possible to preserve the shape.
