Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup
- Setting the Time: Gently pull out the crown (the small knob on the side of the watch) to the first or second position (depending on movement type; often one for date, second for time). Rotate the crown clockwise or counter-clockwise until the correct time is displayed. Once set, push the crown firmly back into its original position to ensure water resistance.
- Bracelet Adjustment: The stainless steel bracelet comes with removable links to adjust its size. For a perfect fit, it is highly recommended to have the bracelet sized by a professional jeweler or watch technician. Improper adjustment can damage the bracelet or clasp.
Compatibility
This watch is designed to be a versatile accessory, complementing a wide range of attire, from business suits to casual wear. Its classic design and neutral colors ensure it pairs well with various personal styles. It is compatible with most wrist sizes after proper bracelet adjustment.
Care Instructions
- Cleaning: Regularly wipe the watch case and bracelet with a soft, dry, lint-free cloth to remove dust, sweat, and oils. For deeper cleaning, use a slightly damp cloth, ensuring no moisture enters the watch case. Avoid harsh chemicals, soaps, or abrasive materials.
- Water Resistance: While water-resistant to 50 meters, avoid exposing the watch to hot water, steam, or chemicals found in pools or cleaning agents, as these can degrade the seals over time. Never operate the crown or pushers when the watch is wet or underwater.
- Temperature Extremes: Avoid exposing your watch to extreme temperatures, hot or cold, as this can affect battery life and the accuracy of the movement.
- Impact: Protect your watch from strong impacts or falls, which can damage the internal components or scratch the case and crystal.
- Storage: When not in use, store your watch in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and strong magnetic fields.
