FAQs
Are these shoes suitable for playing football or futsal?
While the adidas Samba LT is inspired by indoor soccer shoes and has a grippy outsole, it is primarily designed for casual wear and style. For competitive football or futsal, we recommend specialized performance footwear.
What is the fit like for the adidas Samba LT?
The Samba LT features a 'Regular Fit,' meaning it generally fits true to size and accommodates most foot shapes comfortably for everyday wear. This specific model is a UK size 11 for women.
How should I clean the white leather and nubuck materials?
For the white leather, wipe gently with a soft, damp cloth and a mild cleaner if necessary, then dry. For the nubuck sections, use a specialized nubuck brush to remove dirt and restore the texture. Avoid excessive moisture and always air dry.
Is the oversized tongue purely aesthetic, or does it serve a function?
The oversized tongue is primarily a distinctive aesthetic feature, offering a modern, football-inspired look. It also features a lace cover for a clean finish.
Can I wear these shoes in wet weather?
The leather upper provides some natural resistance to light moisture. However, these shoes are not waterproof. For heavy rain, it's advisable to use a protective spray for leather and nubuck or choose different footwear to prevent damage and discomfort.
Are these shoes available in other colors or sizes?
Yes, the adidas Samba LT series is typically available in a range of colors and sizes. This specific product guide is for the White, Leather, UK 11 (Women's) variant. Please check product listings for other available options.
Troubleshooting
Shoes feel too tight or uncomfortable.
Ensure you've selected the correct size (UK 11 for this model). Leather shoes often require a short break-in period. Try adjusting the lacing; sometimes loosening the laces slightly can provide more comfort. If discomfort persists, consider wearing thinner socks.
Leather or nubuck looks dull or dirty.
Regular cleaning is key. For leather, use a damp cloth with a mild soap if needed, then wipe dry. For nubuck, use a specialized nubuck brush to gently remove dirt and restore the texture. Avoid harsh chemicals that can damage the material.
Soles lack grip on certain surfaces.
While the rubber outsole offers good general traction, excessive dirt or wear can reduce its effectiveness. Clean the sole thoroughly to remove any lodged debris. If the sole appears significantly worn down, its grip may be naturally reduced over time.
Laces constantly come undone.
Ensure you are using a secure knot, such as a double knot. Over time, laces can wear out; replacing them with new, higher-quality laces can improve security.

Setup, Compatibility & Care

Care
To maintain the appearance and longevity of your leather and nubuck Samba LT trainers:
- General Cleaning: Wipe down the leather portions with a soft, damp cloth to remove surface dirt. For the nubuck areas, use a dedicated nubuck brush to gently lift dirt and restore the nap.
- Stain Removal: For tougher stains on leather, use a mild leather cleaner. For nubuck, a nubuck eraser can be effective. Always test cleaners on an inconspicuous area first.
- Protection: Consider applying a waterproof and stain-repellent spray specifically designed for leather and nubuck to protect against the elements and spills.
- Drying: If shoes get wet, stuff them with newspaper to absorb moisture and allow them to air dry naturally at room temperature. Avoid direct heat sources like radiators or sunlight.
- Storage: Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Using shoe trees can help maintain their shape.
