Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure your Air Force 1 trainers last, it is essential to follow basic care guidelines.
- Initial Setup: Ensure laces are threaded evenly. Adjust the tension from the bottom eyelets upward to achieve a secure fit without restricting circulation.
- Cleaning: Use a soft, damp cloth or a specialized leather cleaner to wipe away surface dirt. Avoid submerging the shoes in water or using harsh chemical solvents that might damage the leather finish.
- Storage: Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, which can cause the leather to dry out or crack over time. Use shoe trees or crumpled paper inside the shoes to help them maintain their shape when not in use.
- Maintenance: Apply a leather-safe protectant spray to repel liquids and prevent minor stains from setting into the material.
