Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure your F50s last through the season, focus on proper preparation and maintenance:
- Break-in: Wear your boots during light training sessions before playing in a match to allow the Fiberskin upper to contour to your foot.
- Lacing: Adjust the laces according to your desired tightness, utilizing the tunnel tongue to ensure the fit is secure across the bridge of the foot.
- Cleaning: After play, remove loose dirt using a soft-bristled brush. Wipe down the upper with a damp cloth and mild soap. Avoid submerging the boots in water.
- Drying: Air dry in a cool, shaded area. Never use heat sources like radiators or hair dryers, as these can warp the synthetic materials and weaken the adhesives.
- Surface: While these boots are labeled FG/MG, avoid overly muddy or saturated ground as the stud configuration is optimized for firmer pitches.
