No, machine washing can permanently damage the suede material. Use manual cleaning methods instead.
While they were designed for handball in 1979, modern players typically prefer sport-specific shoes with more advanced shock absorption.
Yes, they generally follow standard UK sizing for kids, but it is always recommended to refer to the size guide if you are between sizes.
Applying a water-repellent spray designed for suede can help prevent light moisture and dirt from penetrating the material.
Yes, the adidas Handball Spezial is a unisex design suitable for all children.
Ensure the laces are threaded correctly and double-knot them if necessary for a more secure hold.
Use a specialized suede brush and gently brush in one direction to lift the nap and restore the texture.
Use a damp cloth with mild soapy water to gently wipe the rubber outsole; do not get the suede upper wet.
Getting the right fit is essential for the Handball Spezial; ensure the lace tension is adjusted evenly across the bridge of the foot to avoid pressure points. To maintain the appearance of the suede, it is recommended to use a soft-bristled suede brush to remove loose dirt after each wear. If the shoes get wet, let them air dry naturally away from direct heat sources to prevent the material from stiffening or cracking. For stubborn marks, use a dedicated suede eraser. Avoid machine washing these trainers, as water immersion can damage the delicate suede finish and the glue bonds in the outsole.
