Setup, Compatibility & Care Instructions
Setup:
The Nanda Range handles come in various kit configurations. For the "Handles only" kit, standard internal door preparation for lever handles and a separate spindle mechanism will be required. Kits including tubular latches, mortice locks, hinges, and escutcheons provide all necessary components for a comprehensive installation. Ensure you have appropriate tools for door hardware installation, such as a screwdriver and potentially a drill for new lock installations.
Compatibility:
These handles are designed for standard interior doors. The 64mm tubular latches and mortice locks typically fit doors with a standard 51mm x 51mm (2-inch) cut-out for the lock case, and the 76mm ball-bearing hinges are standard sizes. Always check your door's existing preps or planned cut-outs against the specified dimensions (Lever Length: 140mm, Rose Diameter: 51.2mm, Rose Thickness: 6mm) before purchasing.
Care:
To maintain the finish and appearance of your Nanda Range handles:
- Wipe clean with a soft, damp cloth.
- Avoid using abrasive cleaners, solvents, or harsh chemicals, as these can damage the finish.
- For metal finishes like Matt Black or Satin Nickel, a gentle polish with a microfiber cloth can restore shine. For Antique Brass, allow the natural patina to develop or use a specific brass cleaner sparingly if desired.
