The 2134E features anti-pick, anti-saw, and anti-drill security. Its chamfered bolt design increases performance under side load testing and makes drilling attacks more difficult. Supplied with a covered escutcheon to match the forend. The 2134E series locks are recommended by insurance companies, kitemarked to BS3621:2007 (British Standard), and approved by the police Secured by Design initiative. They are covered by a 15-year guarantee. A deadlock has a single deadbolt operated by a key from either side, while a sashlock has both a deadbolt and a latch operated by lever handles.
