Setup, Compatibility & Care
Initial Setup:
Upon receiving your Motorola Moto G67 5G, power it on by pressing and holding the power button. Follow the on-screen prompts to select your language, connect to Wi-Fi, sign in to your Google account, and set up security features like a fingerprint or face unlock. If you have a previous Android device, you can transfer apps and data using Google Backup.
Compatibility:
- SIM Cards: The device supports Hybrid Dual SIM, allowing you to use two NanoSIM cards, or one NanoSIM and one eSIM. Ensure your SIM cards are compatible with the supported network bands.
- Memory Cards: You can expand storage with MicroSD, MicroSDHC, or MicroSDXC cards up to 2 TB.
- Charging: The phone uses a USB Type-C port for charging and data transfer. A USB Type-C cable is included, but an AC adapter is not. Ensure you use a compatible 30W charger for optimal charging speeds.
- Headphones: It features a USB Type-C port for audio output. You will need USB-C headphones or a USB-C to 3.5mm adapter if you prefer wired audio.
Care Instructions:
- Cleaning: To clean the display and body, use a soft, lint-free cloth. For stubborn smudges, slightly dampen the cloth with water. Avoid using abrasive cleaners, solvents, or aerosol sprays.
- Protection: The device has an IP64 rating for dust and splash resistance and features Corning Gorilla Glass 7i for enhanced screen durability. However, avoid submerging the device in water or exposing it to high-pressure water.
- Battery Health: To maintain battery health, avoid extreme temperatures and try to keep the battery level between 20% and 80% for daily use. Use the recommended charger for optimal charging cycles (rated for 1200 cycles).
- Software Updates: Regularly check for and install software updates from Motorola to ensure you have the latest features, security patches, and performance improvements.
