Troubleshooting
Feeling discomfort in the midfoot
Adjust your lacing pattern or loosen the laces near the arch to alleviate pressure created by the secure midfoot lockdown system.
Slippage during wet road conditions
Ensure the Continental rubber toe-off zone is clean and free of embedded debris, as trapped gravel can reduce surface contact.
Pros and Cons
Pros
- Extremely lightweight construction reduces fatigue
- Excellent energy return from LightstrikePro foam
- Superior grip on wet and dry road surfaces thanks to Continental rubber
- Snug, performance-focused fit for improved control
Cons
- Not intended for off-road or trail environments
- May feel too firm for those seeking maximalist, plush cushioning
- Limited suitability for wide-foot users due to the performance-focused shape
Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure the best performance, tighten the laces specifically using the eye-stay system to lock your midfoot into place without overtightening the forefoot.
Care Instructions:
- Do not machine wash or tumble dry, as this can degrade the foam and adhesive components.
- Clean off mud or dirt after runs using a soft brush and lukewarm water.
- Allow shoes to air dry naturally in a well-ventilated area away from direct heat sources like radiators, which can warp the midsole.
- Replace your running shoes every 300 to 500 miles, depending on your running style and surface conditions.
