FAQs

Can I use this on air-dried hair?

While you can air-dry, the heat protection and volumizing properties are specifically activated by the heat from a blow-dryer.

Is this product suitable for color-treated hair?

Yes, the formula is safe for color-treated and chemically processed hair types.

Will this leave my hair feeling sticky?

No, the product is specifically designed to provide volume and hold without any stiffness or sticky, crunchy residue.

How much should I apply?

Start with a golf-ball-sized amount; you can increase or decrease this based on your hair length and density.

Does it offer protection against flat irons?

The product provides heat protection up to 230C, making it suitable for use with blow-dryers and other thermal styling tools.

Troubleshooting

Product dispensing as liquid instead of foam

Ensure the can is held completely upside down during dispensing and shake the canister vigorously for at least 5-10 seconds before use.

Hair feels flat despite using the product

Check that you are using a blow-dryer to activate the volumizing agents, as heat is required to set the plumping effect.

Pros and Cons

Pros

  • Provides significant volume without a crunchy residue
  • Deeply nourishes dry hair with hydrating ingredients
  • Offers essential heat protection up to 230C
  • Leaves hair touchably soft and manageable
  • Suitable for all hair types

Cons

  • May require more product for very thick or coarse hair
  • Hold strength is natural rather than extra-firm
  • Needs to be used with heat styling for maximum volume results

Setup, Compatibility & Care

To get the most out of your mousse, shake the canister well before each use. Dispense the product by holding the can upside down, ensuring you get the full, aerated texture needed for proper application.

  • Compatibility: Safe for use on color-treated and chemically processed hair. It can be layered with other styling serums, though it is designed to be a standalone product for volume and heat protection.
  • Application: Always apply to damp hair. Distribute evenly using a wide-tooth comb to ensure every strand is coated.
  • Care: Keep the nozzle clean by wiping it after each use to prevent product buildup and ensure a smooth dispense for your next styling session.
