Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure the longevity of your HOKA Rincon 4 trainers, follow these maintenance tips:
- Break-in: Because of the narrow construction, have the child wear them around the house for short periods before long outings to ensure a comfortable fit.
- Cleaning: Use a soft brush to remove loose dirt from the mesh upper. For deeper cleaning, wipe with a damp cloth and mild soap. Avoid submerging the shoes in water or placing them in a washing machine, as this can degrade the foam and adhesives.
- Drying: Always air dry at room temperature. Keep them away from direct heat sources like radiators, as high heat can warp the cushioning foam and damage the mesh fibers.
- Surface Compatibility: These are road trainers. While they perform well on pavements and gym floors, they are not designed for harsh trail conditions or off-road mud and rocks.
