The Gabor Lake Ankle Boots are designed for adults seeking a versatile hybrid between a casual trainer and a sophisticated ankle boot, offering a comfortable platform sole for everyday wear. These boots are ideal for those who prioritize long-term wearability and a personalized fit, though potential buyers should note that the C+ standard width fitting may not accommodate those requiring extra-wide footwear.

Yes, the insoles are removable, making the Gabor Lake boots compatible with most custom orthotics.
These boots feature a 3.5cm platform sole.
The boots are made of leather and offer standard weather resistance, but they are not fully waterproof or submersible.
Clean regularly with a damp cloth and treat with a high-quality leather cream to keep the material supple.
Yes, C+ is a standard width, but the 'Best Fitting' design provides extra room at the ball of the foot for added comfort.
While the zip makes removal easy, we recommend loosening the laces occasionally to ensure the leather remains supple and the fit remains accurate for your foot.
Apply a small amount of clear beeswax or a specialized zipper lubricant to the teeth to improve sliding performance.
Remove the included insole to create more internal volume, or swap for a thinner aftermarket insole.
Ensure you are using a double knot or replace the factory laces with a slightly textured synthetic lace that holds knots better.
To achieve the best fit, ensure you adjust the laces fully the first time you wear the boots, then use the side zip for subsequent daily use. If you use custom orthotics, simply remove the factory insoles before placing your custom ones inside the boot. To care for the leather uppers, wipe them down with a slightly damp cloth after use to remove road salt or dirt. For long-term protection, apply a leather conditioner or cream specifically formulated for black leather to prevent drying and cracking. Store the boots in a cool, dry place away from direct heat sources, which can prematurely degrade the adhesive in the platform sole.
