Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure your Nike Tiempo Maestro boots remain in peak condition, follow these steps:
- Break-in Period: Wear the boots during light training sessions for the first few outings to allow the materials to adapt to your foot shape.
- Surface Compatibility: Always verify that your soleplate (e.g., Firm Ground) is suitable for the pitch you are playing on; using Firm Ground boots on artificial grass or hard courts may cause premature wear.
- Cleaning: After every match, wipe off mud and grass using a soft brush or a damp cloth. Do not soak the boots in water.
- Drying: Allow the boots to air dry at room temperature. Never place them near direct heat sources like radiators, as this can crack the upper materials or weaken the glue bond.
- Storage: Store in a cool, dry place and use a shoe tree or stuffed newspaper to help maintain the boot's shape between uses.
