Dr. Martens generally run true to standard UK adult sizing, though the leather may feel snug initially before relaxing.
While the leather is durable, it is recommended to apply a leather protector spray if you intend to wear them frequently in wet conditions.
Simply wipe the hardware with a dry, soft cloth; avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners which may strip the finish.
Yes, the textured underside of the DMS air-cushioned sole provides reliable traction for standard urban surfaces.
Yes, the double horseshoe buckles allow you to adjust the tension of the straps over your instep for a comfortable fit.
The duration varies by individual foot shape and frequency of wear, typically taking between one to two weeks of regular use.
Wear the shoes with thick socks for short intervals around the house to help the leather mold to your foot shape.
Adjust the strap to the next hole setting to achieve a firmer fit across the instep.
Use a soft-bristled brush to gently remove debris from the groove-edged sole after use.
To ensure your shoes last, begin by wearing them for short periods during the first week to soften the leather gradually. Since these shoes are made of high-quality leather, use a damp cloth to wipe away surface dirt after use. Apply a leather balm or cream periodically to maintain suppleness and prevent cracking. For the best fit, pair these with mid-weight socks during the break-in phase to protect your heels. Keep them in a cool, dry place away from direct heat sources to preserve the integrity of the heat-sealed sole.
