Yes, they are designed to perform well on the road, though the outsole is specifically optimized for versatility on mixed terrain.
Measure your foot length from heel to toe and compare it to European sizing charts, as the fit relies on those specific standard measurements.
The standard Pegasus Trail 4 is breathable; for waterproof capabilities, look for the GTX (Gore-Tex) variants in the series.
Generally, running shoes should be replaced every 300 to 500 miles depending on your gait and the intensity of the terrain.
The design provides a standard, secure fit. If you have particularly wide feet, you may want to ensure you have accounted for the correct length to allow for natural toe splay.
Ensure the laces are tightened firmly across the midfoot to engage the support system.
Use a stiff-bristled brush to remove debris from the outsole after each trail run to maintain optimal traction.
To ensure the best experience, measure your foot length from heel to toe before ordering, as the product is based on European sizing standards rather than standard UK sizing labels. For care, keep your trainers clean by wiping off mud after use with a soft brush or damp cloth. Avoid submerging the shoes in water or putting them in a washing machine, as this can break down the adhesives and cushioning materials. Air dry them in a shaded, well-ventilated area away from direct sunlight to preserve the integrity of the fabrics.
