What is the maximum user weight?

Are the arms height adjustable?
No, the arms on this model are folding arms rather than height-adjustable, allowing them to be moved out of the way when necessary.
Is the lumbar support adjustable?

Can the backrest be locked in position?
This model utilizes a permanent contact mechanism, which is designed to move with the user rather than locking into a single static angle.
Troubleshooting
The chair seat height keeps sinking.
This often indicates a fault with the gas lift cylinder; check that it is properly inserted or contact customer support for a replacement part.
The lumbar pump feels ineffective.
Ensure the valve is fully closed after inflation; if it continues to deflate, check for punctures or a faulty air seal.
The chair feels wobbly during use.
Check all under-seat bolts and the connection between the base and the gas lift to ensure they are tightened to manufacturer specifications.

Setup, Compatibility & Care
Assembly of the Calypso Ergo Chair is straightforward, typically requiring only standard tools included in the packaging. When setting up, ensure the gas lift is fully seated into the wheelbase to prevent instability. The chair is compatible with most standard desk heights but should be checked for clearance if your desk has a modesty panel or keyboard tray. For maintenance, vacuum the fabric upholstery regularly to remove dust. If a spill occurs, use a mild upholstery cleaner and blot rather than scrub the fabric to maintain the integrity of the foam-backed material.
